Homage to the Land

This installation, intended for outdoor placement, is a metaphor for the land as provider:
  • a provider of both physical and psychic sustenance
  • a provider of food for the body, as well as food for the soul


Homage to the Land, outdoor art intallation by sculptor Ben Goodman
Through seasonal and weather changes, the table setting will accumulate and be embellished by natural detritus - leaves, berries, small branches, insects, water, growing grasses. This embellishment is desirable and enhances the natural setting.
